Program Planning
Adhering to the mission of the school sponsoring organization and with reference to the objectives of the Pre-primary Education Curriculum Guide, we have developed a comprehensive and balanced curriculum for our children. We have employed expatriate English and Putonghua teachers to enrich the biliteracy and trilingualism of our children, and we are concerned about the development of children's moral character and civic education in order to prepare them for the international arena in the future.
We believe that a good education is not only about the learning of knowledge, but should also be accompanied by an environment that can stimulate thinking and growth of wisdom. Therefore, we provide different learning resources and opportunities to encourage children to explore and acquire knowledge naturally.
Children's learning outcomes are assessed by continuous observation records.
The school will comply with theKindergarten Education Curriculum GuidelinesThe (2017) Planning Curriculum will not require children in nursery classes to write in pen and pencil, nor will they be required to do mechanical transcription or drill-based numeracy exercises.
School Mission and Vision
To provide children with a healthy and happy childhood, so that they can acquire "Intellectual", "Physical", "Aesthetic", "Emotional" and "Social" development in an enjoyable learning environment to achieve whole-person development.
School Features
In order to enhance children's sense of belonging to the community, the Association has been actively participating in the activities organized by elementary school and various organizations in the district during the new student adaptation period and simulation of primary school life, as well as liaising with the Association's education services in primary and secondary schools.
Granted subsidies to support NCS students; building inclusive campuses to facilitate student integration; collaborating with non-governmental organizations to build integrated campuses; facilitating teachers' participation in professional development programmes to build strategies to help NCS students learn Chinese.
Participating in the Pre-school Rehabilitation Service. The school joined the part-time service for the disabled subvented by the Social Welfare Department in 1995 and started to implement the "On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Service" in October 2019, with a view to contributing in a small way to the support of children with special needs. Apart from children, we are also concerned about the needs of families. In February 2019, the school also launched a pilot project on "Provision of Social Work Service in Pre-school Units" to provide assistance and referral services to parents.
Parents are the first teachers of the children and also the valuable resources of the school. Therefore, we regularly organize parent seminars, parent talks, parent workshops, parent-child trips, parent-child sports events and publish parent newsletters, etc., in order to promote effective contact with each other and to jointly explore the best ways to cultivate the children's happy growth.
