Program Planning
Yawei International Kindergarten offers a customized curriculum that focuses on the development of the whole child. A wide range of activities are organized to help each child develop personal, social, emotional and physical skills. The curriculum is based on the UK EYFS framework to ensure that each student achieves his/her own developmental milestones.
Bilingual - English and Mandarin; game-based learning.
Teachers will conduct regular assessments for students to ensure that students' development meets the appropriate learning targets. Teachers will also record students' learning in class in the Student Learning Assessment so that parents can learn more.
School Mission and Vision
At Yawei International Kindergarten, we are committed to improving the quality of education for the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of each child. Through our program structure and professional teaching staff, we strive to inspire children to become open-minded and harmonious lifelong learners. Our goal is to actively expand children's understanding of different cultures and encourage them to learn to respect and understand people of different nationalities.
School Features
To build an inclusive campus to facilitate the integration of students.
Grace Garden regularly organizes events such as school trips, curriculum nights, school carnivals, etc. These events give parents an opportunity to learn about the school and talk to the teachers. In addition, we hold a Parents' Day every semester where parents can meet with teachers individually to talk about their children at home or at school. Learning Journeys are updated on a monthly basis and distributed to parents to take home to keep them informed of their child's progress at school. In addition, weekly classroom photos are uploaded to the internet so that parents can see what their children are doing at school. Our primary goal is to maintain positive and positive relationships with parents, so we often plan activities for parents to participate in. Therefore, we often plan activities for parents to participate in, such as Parent Observation Week. During this week, we invite parents to come to their child's classroom to help out or lead an activity that will give them an opportunity to learn more about how their child is doing in the classroom.
