The Student Support Section of the school is responsible for planning, implementing and reviewing the support work related to IE. It has also formulated a "School-based IE Policy", which adopts the concept of "Whole School Approach": it promotes the collaborative efforts of the SEN Co-ordinator, the SEN Support Teacher, the Guidance Team Teachers, the classroom teachers and subject teachers in formulating the support measures for students with special educational needs (SEN).
With parents' consent, the School will collect information on new S1 students with SEN to facilitate early identification of students' SEN and arrangement of appropriate support for them. Students suspected to have SEN will also be screened and referred to educational psychologists for follow-up.
Examination accommodations are arranged within the school to help students in need to apply for similar accommodations when applying for public examinations, so as to enhance the fairness of the examinations.
