The average merit rate (Level 4 or above) of the four core subjects (Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies) was 54% higher than the territory-wide average. The average merit rate of the three subjects is more than 84% higher than that of the Hong Kong norm, and the merit rate of one of the subjects is twice as high as the Hong Kong norm.
