School-wide language policy:
In accordance with the guidelines of the Medium of Instruction (MOI) fine-tuning policy of the Education Bureau (EDB), Science and Mathematics are taught in English at Secondary 1 to 3 levels. In the Integrated Humanities subject, there are English extended learning activities and after-school English and Putonghua learning activities to provide students with a biliterate and trilingual learning environment. To meet the needs of the community and to prepare students for further studies, the bilingual policy has been implemented at Secondary 4 to 6 levels, with English-medium classes and Putonghua-medium classes for the Chinese Language subject as necessary. The Chinese Language subject has been fully taught in Putonghua at junior secondary levels. School-based programs:
1. Elective subjects: 2X and 3X. A total of 15 elective subjects are offered, and students may choose two or three elective subjects. Senior secondary students may also choose to study Applied Learning, Foreign Languages, Music, Physical Education, and so on.
2. Curriculum focus: Through curriculum integration and cross-curricular learning elements, diversified learning experiences, such as language extension activities, moral and civic education, extra-curricular activities and life-wide learning week, are created to cater for the learning needs of students and to broaden and enrich their learning experiences. The junior secondary STEM curriculum incorporates elements of inquiry and hands-on experience to develop students' creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills, and to strengthen students' ability to synthesize and apply knowledge and skills through cross-curricular collaboration. For example, S.1 is organized into Creative Thinking and S.3 is organized into Science Project Learning. The Drama Education Program at S2 is organized by English teachers and expatriate teachers in small groups to help students learn playwriting and experience the elements of drama, as well as provide opportunities for public performances to cultivate students' interest in English drama and enhance their confidence in learning English. The school-based Arts and Life Curriculum is offered to Secondary 3 students to practise art creation in their daily lives. The senior secondary Multiple Intelligences (MI) lessons are based on the themes of Musical Theatre and Expressive Arts, which help students to experience the arts and build up positive values. In the second semester, students are offered courses of their own choice to develop their potential and interests, to broaden their horizons, to enrich their learning experiences and to develop their multiple intelligences.

Students' learning is facilitated through a variety of assessment strategies, such as project-based learning, subject competitions, tests and examinations, and learning portfolios. In addition, through different assessment activities, teachers are able to check the learning status of students and follow up the progress of each class.

The school adopts a "student-centered" approach and implements the "Enlightened Potential Education" to promote the development of students' multiple intelligences through the formal curriculum and various activities. Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
The Discipline and Guidance Team of the School is responsible for planning, implementing and reviewing the support for IE and formulating the School-based IE Policy. Members of the Discipline and Guidance Team include the Deputy Principal, Discipline and Guidance Officers, Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators, Discipline and Guidance Teachers at all levels, and School Social Workers. The concept of "integration of discipline and guidance" has been adopted to promote the Whole-school Approach, whereby the class teachers, subject co-ordinators, and subject teachers work together to formulate support measures for students with special educational needs (SEN). The school flexibly deploys various resources, including the Learning Support Grant, assessment services provided by the Education Bureau and the Educational Psychologists in Schools, counseling services and the school-based Integrated Education Program, to create an inclusive and caring school culture. The school also emphasizes home-school co-operation and arranges regular communication between teachers and parents to discuss strategies for supporting students, so as to equip parents with the skills to take care of and teach their children effectively.

The school building is the latest standard school building designed in 2000, with "Charles K. Kao's Future Classroom", Lecture Hall, Multi-purpose Exhibition Hall, fully computerized library, Student Activity Center, two new computer-assisted learning rooms, and a number of special rooms for teaching and learning.
