Life-wide Learning:
Friday extracurricular activities are divided into four categories: Academic, Physical Education, Arts and Interests. They are led by professional instructors or teachers. Students may choose to participate in after-school interest classes. After-school programs include: school team training, Multiple Intelligences training and interest classes. Students are free to join the interest classes, while the rest of the school team is selected by the school. Different types of learning activities are organized, such as visits, trips, educational camps, and out-of-country learning.
Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:
The school has an after-school tutorial class where students can receive extra tutoring to help improve their learning problems. If there is a special need, homework adaptation and examination adaptation will be provided after assessment.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive modes of Chinese language teaching and learning (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/cluster learning, etc.); developing a school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing inclusive campus activities. With funding from the Education Bureau (EDB), counseling groups and related activities are provided to help NCS students adapt to learning.
Home school cooperation:
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) enthusiastically supports the school's activities and holds regular parent seminars, parent education and parent-child activities, which are very helpful to the communication between home and school. In addition to regular parent volunteers assisting with lunch duty and large-scale school activities, parents can also participate in volunteer services such as athletic meets, trips and tours.
Environmental Policy:
Promote nature conservation, set up tree appreciation trails, and green the campus to create a natural environment for environmental education.
