Objective: The school follows the "Preventive Education Method" advocated by St. John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian Society. Classroom teaching model:
E-learning is fully implemented, with the use of appropriate learning software to enhance classroom interaction and regular cross-curricular and scientific inquiry activities. Starting from Grade 4, we have implemented the "Self-portable Device" program. To make good use of the iTeach teaching platform to record and analyze students' learning history. Learning and Teaching Strategies :
Based on the Central Curriculum, a diversified school-based curriculum is developed according to students' levels, interests and needs. Through different learning and teaching strategies, such as "Cooperative Learning", "e-Learning" and different levels of questioning skills, students are able to construct knowledge through interactions in group activities, develop higher-order thinking skills, cultivate the ability of empathy, establish positive values and attitudes, and nurture students to become unique, caring and joyful children with a bright and intelligent mind. Students will be nurtured to become unique, friendly, joyful and intelligent children.
The school adopts small class teaching from Primary 1 to Primary 6, with English and Mathematics classes in the upper grades divided into groups according to the students' abilities, so as to cater for students' learning diversity, and additional teachers are added to some classes for pull-out and collaborative teaching.
Life-wide Learning:
The school's extracurricular activities cover academic, sports and service categories. Multiple Intelligences classes include: Stembrick, Stembot, Volleyball, Athletics, Scientist, and Media Creation. Home school cooperation:
The GRWTH e-newsletter platform is set up to provide parents with real-time information about the school and to facilitate home-school communication.
