Learning and Teaching Strategies :

We are committed to providing quality education that is student-centered and develops lifelong self-learning and creative problem-solving skills, knowledge and attitudes. In learning and teaching, we aim to enhance students' motivation and strengthen their self-learning skills. In terms of teaching strategies, curriculum and assessment innovations are implemented to develop students' reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, and to enhance their biliteracy and trilingualism. In Chinese, English and Mathematics, student assessment is used to diagnose students' strengths and weaknesses so as to adjust teaching strategies and improve students' learning effectiveness.

All teachers actively participate in continuous training in various Key Learning Areas (KLAs). In addition to collaborative teaching and peer lesson observation, there are joint lesson planning sessions to enhance professional exchanges and teacher training to improve the effectiveness of learning and teaching.

Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:

The School adopts a "Whole School Approach" in implementing IE. A Student Support Team comprising the Deputy Principal, co-ordinating teachers, teaching assistants and educational psychologists has been set up to support students with SEN, and arrangements have been made for teachers to enroll in IE-related courses to enhance their professional capacity. The Support Team works closely with the Guidance Team, school social workers, class teachers and teachers of the Whole Person Development Unit to provide diversified support for students with SEN. The school makes flexible use of the Learning Support Grant and other school resources, including the employment of teaching assistants, purchasing of speech therapy services and different group trainings, to provide appropriate support to students. The school also works closely with professionals such as the Education Bureau and school-based educational psychologists to conduct regular individual meetings, student assessments and group training. Parents are invited to participate in meetings and workshops to formulate individual learning plans for their students and review the effectiveness of the plans on a regular basis, so as to equip parents with the skills to take care of and teach their children effectively.
