School-wide language policy:
We are committed to improving the Chinese and English language skills of our students. On the one hand, we employ expatriate English teachers to focus on improving the oral English skills of our junior high school students. The school also offers an Advanced Enrichment Program, which provides students with appropriate teaching materials and an appropriate teaching environment according to their level of proficiency. Language proficiency is closely related to reading, and the school arranges related activities to create a reading environment.
For classes with students who are more proficient in learning English, some modules of Mathematics and Science will be taught in English (with a total of not more than 251 TP3T of English language teaching time). For other classes, not more than 10% will be allocated for English Extended Learning Activities (reviewing part of the learning content in English). English elements will be incorporated into the design of examination papers and assignments. The Task Force will meet regularly to review the effectiveness of the program and make changes and improvements where necessary.

- The school has set up a Discipline Team, a Counseling Team and a Student Development Team to support student growth in a whole-school approach. The school has also implemented a dual classroom teacher system, with a classroom development officer and a daily "classroom teacher's period" to provide timely counseling support for students;
- In order to help students enhance their learning ability, the school organizes various enrichment courses, including the "Adaptation Course for Newly Arrived Students", "Junior Secondary English Study Class", "Mathematics Enhancement Course", "Homework Tutorial Class", etc. In the area of character cultivation, the school carries out moral and civic education through the sharing of teachers in the morning assembly and through the infiltration of various subjects, including Religious Ethics, Life Education, Chinese Language, Chinese History, etc. The school encourages students to model themselves on their peers with good character through an award scheme. Learning and Teaching Strategies :
Focusing on the needs of students, we set clear learning objectives, targets and priorities, adopt interactive teaching, develop students' potential through effective teaching strategies, and provide feedback to students through assessment. Enhance students' English, Chinese and Mathematics skills by offering remedial courses after junior secondary school and after-school enrichment courses at senior secondary school to improve students' performance in public examinations. To design STEM learning portfolios to introduce STEM learning elements in a curriculum-driven manner, so that students can apply self-directed learning strategies in STEM learning activities, and record and assess the progress and effectiveness of students' learning in the learning portfolios.
Teacher professional training and development:
- To co-ordinate and assist new teachers, supply teachers and trainee teachers in adapting to the teaching environment of the school, and to set up professional development activities including collaborative lesson planning in the form of lesson plans, discussion on teaching and questioning techniques, methods of handling classroom order, and after-school meetings to review teaching experience, so as to enhance their competence in classroom teaching, classroom management and the use of information technology.
- To organize teacher training programmes and coordinate and co-organize internal and external professional development activities, including open classrooms and sharing sessions on teaching outside Hong Kong, collaborative teaching and peer lesson observation, and to provide tertiary institutions with internship channels to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning of various teachers through sharing/exchange of teaching experience.

Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
In order to take care of students' needs more effectively, the Learning Support Team consists of the SEN Co-ordinator, SEN Support Teachers, Educational Psychologists, teachers, social workers and teaching assistants. Through the concept of whole-school approach, the team helps teachers, parents and students to build an inclusive school with respect, tolerance and mutual support. We also cooperate with other sections to support students in need. We provide individual counseling and assistance to students with special learning needs, such as learning difficulties, emotional problems, physical disabilities, etc., to help them adapt to school life, including the curriculum, tests and examinations, and to establish good peer relationships. At the same time, we work in partnership with families of students with special learning needs, encouraging parents and teachers to work together to set goals for the students' learning and growth.
In order to raise students' awareness of career planning, the school has set up a Peer Counselor Program to help students with special educational needs to understand their interests and build up their own career plans at an early stage. In addition, the school has set up a Peer Counselor Program to help students understand different emotional states through workshops, and to consolidate what they have learned through practices such as community care actions, day camps for integration, and Form 1 orientation activities, in order to serve the community with love and build a caring campus atmosphere.
The school emphasizes home-school cooperation. The school invites parents to participate in the support work together, together with the support of experts such as educational psychologists, social workers and speech therapists, to guide parents to understand exactly the needs of their children.
