The school culture is simple and honest, students are respectful of teachers and have a harmonious teacher-student relationship. The school has successfully established a caring culture, emphasized on classroom management, set up a comprehensive reward and punishment system, and implemented the Self-improvement Points Award Scheme and the Extra-curricular Activity Participation Award Scheme to cultivate students' positive values and attitudes, and to actively develop their personal potentials. The Discipline, Counseling, and Student Growth and Support Teams have developed a student growth development system and implemented the \"Life Education Camp\" in Grades 4 to 6. In Grade 4, students learn about self-leadership and undergo leadership and self-challenge training. In Grades 5 and 6, the Camp focuses on self-management, collaboration, problem-solving and reflection skills, as well as learning to get along with others and developing team spirit. The School provides additional support to admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers\/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group\/small group learning, etc.); and organizing inclusive campus activities.<\/p>\n
The school has been maintaining good communication and cooperation with parents.
