In addition to small class teaching, students have the opportunity to participate in gifted programs offered by different educational institutions. In line with the \"through-train\" model, we can arrange for individual subjects or skip a grade as a whole, and provide different kinds of support for students' affective development.<\/p>\n<h3>Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:<\/h3>\n<p>The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers\/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group\/group learning, etc.); organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out learning, pinyin teaching materials, etc.) on a need basis for the implementation of Putonghua teaching in the school across the board for all grades (i.e., for all classes\/groups).
