The Elementary and Primary classes are divided into three groups, with cross-curricular and small-group remedial teaching, so that students of similar levels can learn together and enhance the effectiveness of teaching. Emphasis is placed on triliteracy and quadrilingualism. The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers\/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning, group\/small group learning, etc. on a need basis); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and\/or adapting teaching materials; organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out learning, pinyin teaching materials, etc.) to NCS students in implementing Putonghua teaching at all levels in the school on a need basis, i.e. in all classes\/groups.
