Curriculum Planning: Organic Integration, Natural Connection; Multiple Strategies, Interaction; Inside and Outside the Classroom, Whole School Participation.<br \/>2. Language Education: Emphasis is placed on biliteracy and trilingualism, with the following teaching elements: text reading, writing instruction, speech training and phonological knowledge, language proficiency, teaching of ancient poems and literature appreciation, etc., in order to cultivate moral and emotional values.<\/p>\n<h3>Life-wide Learning:<\/h3>\n<p>All-round experience and professional education: many professional climbing instructors teach mountaineering courses and lead students to reach the summit many times; former coaches and current members of the Hong Kong team train the school team, such as roller skating and artistic gymnastics; experience pony riding, water activities, open-top bus tours of Hong Kong and the STEMX World Cup activities; and provide special courses such as rock-climbing, fencing, electronic music band, Chiu's Kitchen and table games.<\/p>\n<h3>Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:<\/h3>\n<p>Three-tiered teaching design and curriculum tailoring, homework and assessment adaptation, small group teaching to enhance learning effectiveness, and three-tiered implementation model.<\/p>\n<h3>Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:<\/h3>\n<p>The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers\/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out\/group learning, Pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as necessary in the implementation of Putonghua teaching across the board for some of the grades in the school (i.e., for all classes\/groups).<\/p>\n<h3>Home school cooperation:<\/h3>\n<p>The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) actively participates in school activities: organizing parent-child activities, seminars, and student interest classes on a regular basis. Parent-teacher conferences and Chiu's Parent Academy are held regularly to strengthen communication and develop the school with parents. The school listens to and values the opinions of parents.<\/p>\n<h3>Environmental Policy:<\/h3>\n<p>The Multiple Intelligences (MI) class has a planting team, which allows students to take care of the flowers and plants on campus in an environmentally friendly way. In line with the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD)'s \"Adopt-a-Power Club\" project, solar panels have been installed to promote renewable energy in the school; the General Knowledge Room has been optimized to emphasize the importance of environmental protection education; the use of the Campus Intelligent Card System (CICS) and e-circulars have been used to reduce the
