In addition to subject-based education, the school also promotes a wide range of learning experience activities. More than 30 diversified subjects or interest groups are offered to students after school from Monday to Saturday, including percussion, group running class, jazz dance, lion dance, English ambassador, drone programming, creative arts class and uniformed team.<\/p>\n
Through collaborative lesson planning with teachers, students are provided with appropriate enrichment or adaptations according to their abilities. Tests and homework adaptations are also provided to support students with special learning needs.<\/p>\n
The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning, group\/cluster learning, etc.); organizing inclusive campus activities; and employing additional staff and\/or procuring additional translation\/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents. The school has set up Chinese tutorial classes and after-school homework guidance classes for NCS students. Tests and homework adaptation are also provided to support NCS students.<\/p>\n
In addition to organizing regular parent-teacher conferences, we have established a Parent-Teacher Association and a Parent-Manager Association to serve as a bridge between home and school and to participate in the school management, thus enhancing the communication and cooperation between home and school.<\/p>\n
