Teachers and students have a harmonious relationship in the school. During the year, many activities are organized, such as moral education talks, health education talks, clean-up campaign, Chinese and English calligraphy competitions, drawing competitions, Chinese Week, Land Games, swimming competitions, English Week, Putonghua Week, and a number of religious activities, as well as a discipline team and \"teachers' helpers\", in which the students are enthusiastically involved and committed. The students were all very enthusiastic in participating in the activities. All of them were very creative, articulate, imaginative, willing to help others, and remained enthusiastic about their religion.<br \/>2. The PTA is very supportive of the various activities organized by the school and helps to host the extra-curricular activities of P.1 and takes care of the P.1 and P.2 students during the lunch time, and is also responsible for the P.1 Parents' Orientation Ceremony.<\/p>\n<h3>Learning and Teaching Strategies :<\/h3>\n<p>We implement a holistic approach to inquiry-based learning and project-based learning, emphasizing the learning process and students' self-construction of knowledge. We emphasize multi-level questioning skills, classroom interactions, and the use of assessment to facilitate learning, in order to cultivate students' higher-order thinking.<\/p>\n<h3>Life-wide Learning:<\/h3>\n<p>Under the five categories of Academic, Physical Education, Arts, Interests and Services, students are provided with language, math, reading, school newspaper, science and technology, debates, track and field, gymnastics, ball games, lion dance, Chinese dance, calligraphy, painting, drawing, drama, choir, string orchestra, Chinese orchestra, electronic music, Little Girl Scouts, and Little Pioneers of Christ.<\/p>\n<h3>Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:<\/h3>\n<p>In line with the trend of educational development and in keeping with the school's mission, the school will make appropriate curriculum adjustments to cater for the different abilities of students.<\/p>\n<h3>Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:<\/h3>\n<p>The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers\/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, small group\/group learning, etc.); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and\/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing inclusive campus activities.<\/p>\n<h3>Home school cooperation:<\/h3>\n<p>To complement the school development, the PTA organizes various activities such as parent education seminars, parent-child activities, volunteer programs, visits, trips, etc. The PTA also publishes an annual newsletter to promote communication between the school and the parents.
