Learning through play, thematic teaching, and a variety of integrated activities broaden children's life experience. Classes are also provided by foreign English teachers, Putonghua teachers and professional rope skipping instructors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through games, interactive teaching methods, group work, project work, field trips and visits, children's learning motivation and interest are enhanced to broaden their horizons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Observation records and on-going assessments are systematically conducted for children on a weekly, monthly and termly basis, and the relevant observation and assessment reports are issued to parents on a regular basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The school will comply with the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.edb.gov.hk\/attachment\/tc\/curriculum-development\/major-level-of-edu\/preprimary\/KGECG-TC-2017.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guidelines<\/a>The (2017) Planning Curriculum will not require children in nursery classes to write in pen and pencil, nor will they be required to do mechanical transcription or drill-based numeracy exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">School Mission and Vision<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To provide comprehensive and quality pre-school education services for parents and children, to enable children to experience a pleasant learning and group life, to promote the development of the whole person in terms of morality, intellectuality, physicality, social skills and aesthetics, and to work together with parents to nurture the next generation of people who are \"daring to try, willing to learn, courageous to take responsibility, and good at communicating\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">School Features<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the developmental and special learning needs of children, schools collaborate with different professionals to provide appropriate on-site training or referral services for the children concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grants approved to support non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students; employ additional teaching staff\/teaching assistants to support NCS students in Chinese language learning; encourage NCS parent volunteers to enhance communication between schools and parents; build a language-rich environment for Chinese language learning; build an inclusive campus to facilitate student integration; arrange teachers to attend continuous professional development (CPD) programmes to develop strategies to assist NCS students in Chinese language learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schools are participating in the Pre-school Rehabilitation Service.
