Learning and Teaching Strategies :
In terms of teaching and learning, the school will focus on the promotion of active and lifelong learning this year, and strive to enhance students' learning motivation and ability. In order to enhance students' motivation, the school has particularly strengthened junior secondary students' ability to prepare homework and make personal notes, so as to cultivate their self-learning habits. The school will also strengthen students' participation in class through diversified and interactive classroom activities, so as to enhance students' motivation and increase their learning initiative. All junior secondary levels of the school are divided into groups according to their abilities in Chinese, English and Mathematics, and students are provided with teaching materials of different levels. Challenge questions are set in each subject for students to answer freely as part of their extended learning and to develop their independent learning skills. The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; and organizing cultural integration activities. The Chinese Language Section has a full-year after-school tutorial group which uses the textbooks developed by the Education Bureau for NCS students as teaching materials and provides appropriate supplementary assignments to enhance NCS students' Chinese language performance.
