Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
A Whole School Approach (WSA) is adopted for the implementation of IE. The Special Education Unit (SEU) consists of the Deputy Principal, the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), support teachers, social workers and specialists, and so on. The school makes flexible use of the Learning Support Grant and other resources to provide support for students with SEN, including speech therapy, social communication training or counseling groups, after-school tutorial classes, etc. The school also provides homework and assessment adaptations to minimize students' learning difficulties. Homework and assessment adjustments are also provided to minimize the stress of homework and assessment. Through board games and interest classes, students are able to explore their potentials and achieve their career planning goals through service learning. Parents are invited to participate in some of the activities to strengthen home-school cooperation.
