The school aims to nurture students to become biliterate and trilingual and to achieve proficiency in both English and Chinese. All major subjects are taught and learned in English. The school culture is simple, emphasizes discipline and care. The school has set up a double class teacher system to take care of new Secondary 1 students and their parents. The "Big Brothers Big Sisters" program is also in place to help Secondary 1 students adapt to secondary school life as soon as possible. The Alumni Association and the Parent-Teacher Association have organized more than 50 scholarships to encourage students to develop in various aspects.
