Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive modes of Chinese language teaching and learning (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group learning, etc.); developing a school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing cultural integration activities. Purchase Chinese reading materials and learning reference materials, and set up a non-Chinese speaking reading corner in the library.

In addition to the standard classroom facilities, there are three auditoriums, three ball fields, an indoor sports field, two multi-media classrooms, a computer room, a library, a home economics room, a sewing room, a chapel, a Chinese language room, and a campus broadcasting studio. The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System consists of two phases: Discretionary Places Allocation (DP) and Central Allocation (CA).
Discretionary places refer to S1 places reserved by schools for self-admission of students. Government, aided and caput secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places not exceeding 30%, while DSS secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places exceeding 30%.
The application period for the 2024 Discretionary Places is from January 2 to January 16, 2024. All secondary schools participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System (participating secondary schools) will accept applications during the same period. Parents of current Primary 6 students participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) will receive two copies of the Application Form for Secondary 1 Discretionary Places in early December 2023 through their children's elementary school.
