At the senior secondary level, more subjects are taught in English and students are allowed to choose the appropriate medium of instruction. The school emphasizes the importance of training students to be biliterate and trilingual. The school emphasizes character formation and civic education, and nurtures the whole personality of students through religious ethics and affective education. In the Junior Forms, small class teaching has been introduced and students are streamed according to their abilities so that teachers can tailor their teaching to the needs of their students and take measures to ensure that they are at the top and at the bottom of the class. The school emphasizes the importance of students paying their homework on time and has set up a group in the junior high school to follow up cases of non-payment. A 15-minute classroom duty period is added before the end of the school day to cultivate students' good learning attitudes and habits. Extensive reading programs are offered in both Chinese and English to help students improve their language proficiency. In order to broaden students' reading horizons, an "All-round Reading Scheme" has been implemented in junior secondary schools, under which students are required to read at least one relevant book in each Key Learning Area (KLA). In addition, teachers and students in the school have widely applied IT in learning and teaching activities. In recent years, the school has been promoting mobile e-learning to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching.

The school supports staff in continuing education, study tours and secondment programs. Every year, the school develops programs to mentor new teachers, improve middle management skills, and foster a culture of exchange and self-improvement among teachers, with a particular focus on improving the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
