The school has been emphasizing the "biliteracy and trilingualism" approach to education, and the concerns of the school's language policy are.
- Enriching the language learning environment;
- grasping the opportunities for fine-tuning the medium of instruction and increasing the number of ELA activities; and

The school will provide a wider coverage of English learning environment for capable students to bridge over to senior secondary subjects taught in English. Classes are organized mainly on the basis of subject test results to enable students to learn in the appropriate language. Students have the opportunity to change classes when they enter S2 and S3, and the school has put in place a transfer mechanism for this purpose. The school has put in a lot of resources to enhance students' language proficiency, including group teaching of English from S2 to S6, group teaching of Mathematics with English as the medium of instruction, reform of the school-based English curriculum to promote interactive learning, promotion of English language learning through assessment, implementation of cross-curricular English learning activities to increase students' exposure to English, after-school English enrichment classes, and a variety of extra-curricular activities to strengthen students' language proficiency. A Whole School Discipline and Guidance Program is implemented to nurture students to develop proper values, self-respect, self-discipline, and self-determination, regardless of the teacher. A Student Development Committee has been set up to serve as a bridge between classroom teachers and various departments to coordinate the work of each department and to strengthen the care and growth counseling for students. In order to enhance the care and concern for students and to strengthen the liaison with parents, the "Dual Class Teacher System" has been implemented. In addition, there is the "Class Ethos Building" program, which is based on inter-class competitions. Apart from strengthening the cohesion among students, it also enables class teachers to better understand the situation of their students, and helps students to build up positive values and attitudes.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
Through professional learning communities and collaborative lesson planning, teachers of the school design interactive, diversified and life-like lessons to encourage students to participate, collaborate, communicate and develop their creativity to construct knowledge. The school organizes three Teacher Professional Development Days each year and other school-based training courses are frequently held. Each teacher is also required to undertake continuing education, with a target of 150 hours over a three-year period. At the same time, the school's teachers participate in school-based support programs, focusing on the objectives and content of the curriculum, pedagogy and assessment, and reflecting on and improving their practice both inside and outside the classroom.
