School-wide language policy:
The school provides a very rich and intensive English learning environment. With the exception of Chinese Language, Literature, Chinese History, Putonghua, Ethics and Religion, Life and Society, Liberal Studies and Civics, all subjects are taught in English. Students are encouraged to communicate in English every school day. Morning prayers, assembly announcements, awards, and school board meetings are all conducted in English, and every week is designated as English Day. Every week is designated as an English Day. In addition, the school organizes a Chinese Day and a Putonghua Day every year.

2. Curriculum focus: The school's curriculum is aligned with the Curriculum Guide for Secondary Education to help students lay a solid foundation of knowledge for whole-person development and develop lifelong and self-directed learning skills. Knowledge, generic skills, values and positive attitudes of the eight Key Learning Areas (KLAs) are embedded at all levels of study to ensure vertical and horizontal continuity of the curriculum.
In order to cater for learning diversity, the school has not only arranged after-school enrichment and enrichment classes, but also made use of different online resources and the Moodle platform to provide a more suitable curriculum for students with different abilities, and the use of Zoom has also provided students with new opportunities for self-directed learning and student-directed meetings in different Key Learning Areas (KLAs), cross-curricular subjects, as well as in extra-curricular activities.
Tests and study adaptation measures:
The school emphasizes students' daily learning attitude and performance in homework. In addition, the school conducts mid-term and final examinations for students on a regular basis, arranges standardized tests for junior secondary students, and incorporates the method of continuous assessment to assess students so as to enable students and parents to understand their learning situation. There is no standardized test for English at junior secondary level. Instead, students' performance in classroom writing and quizzes are used to calculate their scores. In addition, the School has put in place relevant adaptation measures and procedures for students with special educational needs (SEN) according to their individual circumstances. The support services provided by the school include: school and homework adjustment, peer support, special seating arrangements, special examination arrangements, speech therapy training courses, focus and socialization training groups and academic enhancement groups.

Whole school participation in caring for student diversity:
In S.1, a mixed class system is adopted and additional resources are provided to set up Learning Effectiveness Enhancement Classes, Academic Enhancement Classes and Elite Training Classes to cater for learner diversity so that teachers can tailor their teaching to students' needs. For S2 to S3, two elite classes and two mixed classes are used, while the Academic Enhancement Classes and Elite Training Classes focus on training students' language and mathematical skills. For gifted and academically gifted students, the school will recommend them to participate in gifted and talented programs and competitions held both inside and outside the school. In addition, the school organizes annual growth and development programs for students.
Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
The School's Student Support Team consists of the Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster, Assistant Headmaster, Head of Discipline, Head of Guidance, SENCO, two social workers and the Educational Psychologist. The team aims to cater for students with special educational needs. The school regularly reviews the culture of inclusion within the school and utilizes community resources to promote inclusive activities. The Support Team develops strategic support plans, utilizes the Learning Support Grant and combines other school resources to provide appropriate support for students with special educational needs. The school has accumulated rich experience in supporting students with autism and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder and has developed effective support measures and strategies. The support team works with professional staff to develop the level of support and service arrangements for individual students. The school also employs additional teaching assistants to support students with special educational needs and professional support services such as guidance team, social training team and speech therapy. For students with severe learning/adjustment difficulties, the school has an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) and regular appointments with parents to review the students' learning progress. Teachers are encouraged to attend special education training courses and seminars to enhance their professional capacity in catering for students with special educational needs.

Home school cooperation:
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) actively organizes various activities, such as seminars, workshops, parent-child fun days, newsletters, etc. The PTA has also set up a Parent Volunteer Team to serve the school and the community, to strengthen communication with each other, and to enhance the sense of belonging of parents to the school, and has set up a PTA Scholarship Fund to reward students who have excelled in the public examinations, so as to facilitate the development of the school.
Environmental Policy:
The school has set up an "Environmental and Health Education Unit", which aims to promote students' awareness of environmental protection and health awareness. Every year, the school recruits environmental protection ambassadors, health ambassadors and food-saving ambassadors, and organizes a variety of activities regularly, such as booth games and quiz competitions, to promote the messages of energy conservation, personal hygiene and care for the environment, etc. The school also assists teachers in taking students' body temperatures according to the requirements of the Education Bureau in the morning, and reduces food waste at source through the food-saving program, so that students are instilled with the concept of cherishing food.
