School-wide language policy:
The school provides a broader English learning environment for students with the ability to learn English. Subjects taught in English in some classes/grades at junior secondary level include Integrated Science (S1 and S2), Geography (S1 and S2), History (S1 and S2), Physics (S3), Chemistry (S3), and Biology (S3). Mathematics is taught in English in all junior secondary classes. In order to enable students to learn in the appropriate language, classes are organized according to their English results. The school has established a class transfer mechanism whereby students entering S2 or S3 will have the opportunity to change classes. If a S3 student needs to change the MOI of a subject when he/she enters S4, the school will provide support for the student to adapt. In addition to the specialized English conversation training provided by expatriate English teachers, the school also enhances the language proficiency of students through the "Morning Assembly Students' Short Speech in Chinese and English", the "Reading Program in Chinese and English", and co-curricular activities. The school has Chinese Ambassadors, English Ambassadors and Debate Teams, and the Chinese, English and Putonghua teachers train the students to participate in different competitions outside the school every year in order to strengthen the students' language skills and other generic skills.

The school culture is simple and unadorned. In addition to the presence of a school social worker, teachers of different groups have implemented various programs, such as classroom teachers' lessons, assembly in the assembly hall, and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, to help students face various problems and actively cultivate the spirit of commitment, dedication, and service among students.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
Through teacher professional training, collaborative lesson planning and participation in school-based support programs, the curriculum and teaching strategies are optimized. The school emphasizes the importance of teaching students according to their aptitude, and selects different teaching materials according to their abilities. The school also strengthens the training of classroom routines, promotes the development of good learning habits, and builds up students' capacity for independent learning through self-learning, mutual learning and co-learning, so as to enhance the effectiveness of the school. In order to enhance the effectiveness of English learning, the English teachers of the school have joined the Language Learning Support Group (LLSSG), a professional learning community, and will participate in more teaching sharing and exchanges, and work together with all English teachers in Hong Kong to focus on, deepen, and implement the curriculum reform, so as to promote students' ability to learn.
