The school has set up the Life Education Section to promote value education and to enrich students' learning experience and nurture their self-confidence through leadership training, community service, cross-border study tours and club activities.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
Middle School:
- To strengthen basic training in Chinese, English and Mathematics, and to provide remedial lessons for students who have not met the required standard;
- Emphasis is placed on the interface between the middle and high school curricula;
- We emphasize the training of students' thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and critical skills, and strive to enhance students' generic skills.
High School:

The Head of Mathematics of the school was awarded the 12th Chief Executive's Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (Mathematics Education). His outstanding teaching achievements in Mathematics Education reflect the effectiveness of the school's teaching strategies, which have been recognized and acknowledged by the community.
In 2019, the school's teacher won the Silver Award in the "YMCA Project NET New Media Literacy Lesson Plan Competition" organized by the Media Advisory Centre of the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG). He was also awarded the Silver Award in the International Award for Excellence in e-Learning (2020/21) in e-Learning for History and Humanities Education by the e-Learning Development Laboratory of the University of Hong Kong.
Organized by the Hong Kong Coaches Training Board, the 2016 Jockey Club Hong Kong Outstanding Coach Awards, the Head of Physical Education was awarded the "School Outstanding Coach Award" in recognition of the teacher's achievements in leading the school's volleyball team.
2020 STEM Group Convenor was awarded the Certificate of Commendation for Outstanding STEM Teacher for participating in the "22nd Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition" organized by Hong Kong New Generation Culture Association.
