Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:

The school adopts a Whole School Approach (WSA) in the implementation of Integrated Education (IE) to help students with special educational needs (SEN) to enhance their learning ability and personal growth. The School has set up a Student Support Team to co-ordinate teachers and team members to support students with SEN and to formulate and implement relevant policies. The team is led by the principal and works closely with the educational psychologist, school social worker, counseling team, discipline team and class teachers to support students with SEN. In addition, the school employs a school-based speech therapist to arrange individualized learning plans for students with special needs. The school also encourages teachers to enroll in the integrated education training courses organized by the Education Bureau and tertiary institutions to enhance their professional knowledge. In order to cater for the different learning needs of students, the team will arrange for students with special learning needs to attend tutorial classes or different types of training courses to enhance their social and emotional management skills, so as to provide comprehensive support to students. The school is committed to promoting a caring culture. Through organizing different activities, students learn how to respect individual differences. In order to identify students with specific learning difficulties at an early stage, the team also collaborates with the Chinese Language Section to provide timely support to students in need. The school attaches great importance to home-school co-operation. The team maintains close contact with parents to assess students' learning progress and review the effectiveness of the measures taken, with a view to helping students to overcome learning barriers and realize their potentials in a student-centered manner.

The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System consists of two phases: Discretionary Places Allocation (DP) and Central Allocation (CA).
Discretionary places refer to S1 places reserved by schools for self-admission of students. Government, aided and caput secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places not exceeding 30%, while DSS secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places exceeding 30%.
The application period for the 2024 Discretionary Places is from January 2 to January 16, 2024. All secondary schools participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System (participating secondary schools) will accept applications during the same period. Parents of current Primary 6 students participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) will receive two copies of the Application Form for Secondary 1 Discretionary Places in early December 2023 through their children's elementary school.

Parents can submit applications in paper form or through the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) e-Platform. Once an application is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn, canceled or changed.
