Apart from providing individual counseling and referrals to the School-based Educational Psychologist and Speech Therapist for assessment, the team also arranges classroom and case conferences to follow up on the support work. In addition, we utilize the "Learning Support Grant" to provide various training for students to promote whole-person development and enhance learning effectiveness.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, small group learning, etc.); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing cultural integration activities.
