The school's ethos is simple and the discipline is strict. The school has always emphasized on the character development of students. Civic Education and Ethics are specially designed to build up students' positive outlook on life and correct values. The school has implemented the dual class teacher system and the Big Sisters Program to support the adaptation of new students. In addition to social workers, the school has a counseling team, a college and career counseling team, and a number of nuns specializing in spiritual training.

Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:

The school is committed to the implementation of integrated education and the establishment of an inclusive culture to provide comprehensive support for students with special learning needs. The school has set up a Student Support Team comprising the Deputy Principal, the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, the Discipline Officer, the Guidance Teacher and the Resident Social Worker. Regular meetings are held with the Educational Psychologist in order to devise appropriate support plans for students with special needs. The school utilizes the Learning Support Grant (LSA) flexibly and adopts a diversified mode of support, including the recruitment of additional support staff and the implementation of various training courses and group activities. In order to enhance class teachers' and subject teachers' understanding of individual students with SEN and to arrange appropriate support and counseling, the support team exchanges information with class teachers and subject teachers on the learning situation of the students concerned and discusses support measures. The school emphasizes home-school co-operation, and the support team has established a regular communication mechanism to meet with the parents of the students, so that they can understand the learning situation of their children and work together to support their learning and growth.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The School provides additional support to admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group learning, etc.); developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing cultural integration activities.

The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System consists of two phases: Discretionary Places Allocation (DP) and Central Allocation (CA).
Discretionary places refer to S1 places reserved by schools for self-admission of students. Government, aided and caput secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places not exceeding 30%, while DSS secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places exceeding 30%.
The application period for the 2024 Discretionary Places is from January 2 to January 16, 2024. All secondary schools participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System (participating secondary schools) will accept applications during the same period. Parents of current Primary 6 students participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) will receive two copies of the Application Form for Secondary 1 Discretionary Places in early December 2023 through their children's elementary school.

Parents can submit applications in paper form or through the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) e-Platform. Once an application is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn, canceled or changed.
