In order to meet the needs of different language learning, the medium of instruction (MOI) for Mathematics and Integrated Science is set according to the ability of students in the Junior Secondary School, and the English learning support is also strengthened. The school has unique international educational resources and an excellent English learning environment. Our sponsoring organization, the Oblates, has a strong educational network of schools and universities around the world. In order to strengthen students' English learning and to achieve a richer English environment, the school brings in more expatriate English teachers from outside the country than the average government school to work together to design and teach English courses at different times throughout the year, providing students with plenty of opportunities to practice English and making the use of English a part of school life for the school's students. Extended learning activities using English as the medium of instruction have been introduced in the junior high school so that students at the Form 4 level and above can learn some or all of their major and elective subjects in English in a gradual manner according to their English proficiency and learning ability.

Tests and study adaptation measures:

The school year is divided into two semesters, with the first semester and second semester grades each contributing 50% to the annual total, and students are assessed on the basis of the cumulative results of assigned work, tests (30-40%), and examinations (60-70%) throughout the year in order to encourage full-year commitment to learning. Reading, information technology applications, project work, and speaking skills are also included in the yearly academic assessment.

The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System consists of two phases: Discretionary Places Allocation (DP) and Central Allocation (CA).
Discretionary places refer to S1 places reserved by schools for self-admission of students. Government, aided and caput secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places not exceeding 30%, while DSS secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places exceeding 30%.
The application period for the 2024 Discretionary Places is from January 2 to January 16, 2024. All secondary schools participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System (participating secondary schools) will accept applications during the same period. Parents of current Primary 6 students participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) will receive two copies of the Application Form for Secondary 1 Discretionary Places in early December 2023 through their children's elementary school.
