School-wide language policy:
The school adopts mother-tongue teaching from S1 to S3. According to the school-based MOI arrangement of the school, English is used as the MOI for some subjects in some classes at junior secondary levels, including Mathematics (S1 to S3), Integrated Science (S1 and S2) and Biology (S3). Bilingual teaching is adopted from S4 to S6. In order to further enhance students' English proficiency, the school has designed a wide range of English activities for students. An English Corner has been set up to provide students with more opportunities to practise conversational English. In addition, the school also organizes English enrichment courses through morning assemblies, reading and English Ambassador Programs, and so on.

In addition to traditional written tests to assess students' learning effectiveness, the school also adopts progressive assessment to collect evidence of students' learning. The school implements a "Whole School Approach" to discipline and remedial work, and strengthens the collaboration between class teachers and discipline and counseling teachers by holding regular grade-level discipline and remedial meetings. In addition, the school has implemented the "Dual Class Teacher System", whereby daily classroom lessons are organized to provide the most appropriate and comprehensive care for each student. In addition, the Woodward Student Award Scheme and the Woodward SmartTeam Class-based Award Scheme have been set up to recognize and encourage the positive development of students in extra-curricular activities and character development.

Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
The school is committed to building an inclusive culture and adopting a Whole School Approach to support students with SEN. Through appropriate and diversified support services, the school aims to enhance students' learning effectiveness and facilitate their integration into school life. The Student Support Team consists of the Deputy Principal, SEN Co-ordinator, Guidance Teacher, School Social Worker, Counselor, Speech Therapist and School-based Educational Psychologist. The Support Team works in collaboration with different sections of the school to help students in need. Peer counseling, such as the "Young Ambassadors" mentor program, is arranged to build a caring school culture. The school also emphasizes home-school co-operation and regularly organizes parent activities such as "Parent-Child Gathering" and "Sharing on Further Education and Career" to promote the relationship between students and parents and help parents build up a mutual support network.
