School Wind:

We are committed to creating an atmosphere of harmony, acceptance of others and concern for the community and the world, and emphasize the spirit of self-governance, which is internalized in one's values and outlook on life and embodied in one's actions. With dual class teachers, students are better taken care of and the individual needs of students from different backgrounds are recognized, and preventive and guidance measures are taken to enable students to develop holistically and individually.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :

By utilizing the concept of "Successful Education" and a variety of effective teaching strategies, such as e-learning, brain-based learning skills, and "Assessment for Learning" strategies, we create high-performance, high-engagement and high-motivation classrooms to help students experience success in a diversified learning process, so that they can build up their self-confidence and motivation in learning. The school curriculum is based on the centralized curriculum developed by the Curriculum Development Council and adjusted according to the abilities, interests and needs of the students in the school.

Teacher professional training and development:

In addition to the annual three-day Teacher Professional Development Day, there are group lesson planning, peer lesson observation, information technology training courses, workshops and exchange sessions. Teachers of the school also actively participate in various training courses and seminars organized by external organizations. The school has also set up open classes for teachers to enhance their teaching effectiveness through cross-curricular lesson observation and discussion.

Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:

The school implements a Whole School Approach to Integrated Education (IE), which enables all staff, peers and parents to learn and understand how to take care of students with special educational needs (SEN), so as to build up a caring and inclusive school culture. In order to support students with SEN, the school has been granted a Learning Support Grant by the Education Bureau and a Student Support Team has been set up. The Student Support Team consists of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator, the Academic Officer, the Guidance Officer and the Language Teacher. The establishment of the team enables a more systematic deployment of manpower and resources to liaise with different stakeholders, such as parents, teachers, social workers, professionals, etc., to promote the participation of the whole school in student support work. In addition, an additional student counselor has been recruited to assist in the care of students with special educational needs (SEN).

The school provides appropriate support to students with special educational needs (SEN) according to their characteristics. Specific measures include early identification of cases, bridging of primary school cases, learning adjustment (including curriculum, teaching, homework, tests and assessment), professional therapy (e.g. speech therapy service), career planning guidance group, social training group, and diversified inclusive activities, etc. Specialized teachers develop and follow up individualized learning plans for students who need tertiary support. Specialized teachers also develop and follow up the Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) for "students in need of tertiary support". The school has established a mechanism to listen to parents' views and discuss students' progress. In addition, in line with the training programs of the Education Bureau, the School actively encourages and assigns teachers to participate in teacher training on integrated education, so as to enhance teachers' professional capacity in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing cultural integration activities.

Parents are advised to consider two important factors when choosing a school for their children: their children's abilities and the characteristics of the preferred school.

You can communicate with your child's subject teachers to learn more about your child's abilities. For the characteristics of the target school, you may refer to the "Profile of a Secondary School" issued by the Committee on Home-School Co-operation to understand the school's philosophy, language of instruction, religion, class structure, etc. You may also refer to the "School Profile" issued by the Committee on Home-School Co-operation to learn more about the school's philosophy, language, religion and class structure.Visit the school's webpage on this websiteThis is because our information is also collected from theSecondary School OverviewThe school's website and information about the school on the internet, including the schools' Youtube Channels.

We believe that as long as we choose suitable schools according to the abilities of our children, we will make them happy to learn and enjoy going to school, which will be most helpful to their studies.

Parents can only apply for a maximum of two participating secondary schools for their children. Note: Applications for Discretionary Places from more than two secondary schools, whether submitted in paper form or through the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) e-platform, will be considered invalid.
