School-wide language policy:
The school has a Putonghua subject and a Chinese and English reading award scheme, and requires students to write weekly journals to enhance their "biliteracy and trilingualism". To enrich the English learning environment for students, the school implements "English Extended Learning Activities", such as the publication of English periodicals for students to participate in interviewing and editing. Graduates will also assist in organizing "Examination Skills Classes" to strengthen students' English and Chinese conversation training. On Thursdays, morning assemblies were held in English or Putonghua on a rotating basis, allowing students to speak from the podium in either English or Putonghua. English enrichment classes are conducted by English teachers with non-language teachers of Music, General Computer and Home Economics to provide various opportunities for exposure to English.
In addition, the school organizes annual English language exchange tours to Australia, Singapore, Thailand and Macau to visit local secondary schools and universities. In addition to the opportunity to practice English, students can also experience the local culture and learning atmosphere.

The school is a simple school with a number of Student Care Teams. All junior secondary school students are required to stay at school for lunch, and different kinds of activities are organized to take care of students' growth. The "Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program" of the Discipline Section promotes peer support, fosters a "caring and inclusive" campus culture, and promotes "healthy campus positive human activities", teaching students to adopt a positive and proactive way of thinking, so that when they encounter difficulties, they will be able to cope with them comfortably, and thus live a happy and wonderful life. Learning and Teaching Strategies :
The school emphasizes the cultivation of multiple intelligences and the all-round development of students in the areas of ethics, intellect, physique, social skills and aesthetics. The school continues to implement the Whole School Approach to Integrated Education. More than 80% of the teachers (39) had received training in basic, advanced and/or thematic courses under the "Professional Development for Teachers of Students with Special Educational Needs", of which 21 teachers had completed the basic course, 10 teachers had completed the advanced course and 8 teachers had completed the thematic course, and 4 teachers had completed the junior or/and postgraduate "Professional Development for Mental Wellness" courses.
