The school emphasizes the cultivation and enhancement of students' English proficiency and affirms the positive value of mother tongue teaching to students' learning, in line with the spirit of "mother tongue teaching, excelling in both Chinese and English". The school implements small class teaching and school-based curricula to enhance the English proficiency of students through pull-out and remedial teaching. In recent years, the school has been seeking external resources to expand the English Corner, increase the number of English contextualized teaching, and liaise with international schools to help students learn English.

The school utilizes the Learning Support Grant to procure services to provide appropriate support to students, including basic Chinese language training for students with SEN, interest and service groups to explore students' potentials, and social skills training for students with autism. Information on support for students with SEN is regularly disseminated to all teachers at the school council meetings to assist the students concerned. The school also provides appropriate examination adaptations, such as independent examination rooms, extra time, the use of screen-reading software or voice system, etc. The school also provides a wide range of support services for students with autism, such as a special education team for students with autism, and social skills training for autistic students. The school also organizes class-based inclusive activities to promote an inclusive culture for different situations. The school also worked closely with the school-based educational psychologist to conduct regular assessments for needy Secondary 1 students and to draw up Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) for students with severe needs. The school also invited the relevant parties to conduct regular ILPs to review the effectiveness of the ILPs. The school also organizes parent-teacher conferences for parents of new S1 students to provide a platform for communication and promote home-school co-operation, and distributes the "Learning Support Profile" on the Parents' Day to enable parents to know the support measures for their children.
