The core of education is the formation of character and the transformation of the mind. The school will endeavor to help students develop the three selves - "self-care", "self-learning" and "self-reflection" - in pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty, so that they can experience a fruitful life. Through an extensive network of educators and scholars from home and abroad, as well as the close connection and cooperation between the school and the family, the school is able to provide strong support for the development of students' growth.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
To consolidate students' capacity for lifelong learning and to prepare them physically and mentally for higher education. Students acquire knowledge, develop skills and build up proper values and attitudes through different areas of study. Apart from learning to work with others through project-based learning and group activities, students also learn to allocate time, cope with pressure and take the initiative to learn by reporting their progress to their tutors. In addition, there are outdoor study tours every year and overseas exchanges during long vacations, in which students are free to participate. The school has carefully considered the general trend of education development in different countries in the world and adjusted the curriculum of the junior and senior secondary schools.
The curriculum is designed to meet the requirements of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination in Hong Kong, and also incorporates the unique and outstanding contents of different programs in China and overseas, so that students can be exposed to a curriculum with an international outlook, and be prepared for studying overseas.
Teacher professional training and development:
The school has funded all teachers to join a global professional development organization for teachers, which travels around the world every year to attend seminars, meet scholars from different backgrounds and visit local schools. The school also arranges for local and international senior scholars to visit the school to build a global multicultural support network.
Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
Under the supervision of the Principal, the Deputy Principal in charge of Student Support leads the Student Support Team, comprising the Campus Life Team, Social Worker, Educational Psychologist and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, to co-ordinate and formulate support plans according to the needs of individual students. The Student Support Team meets regularly to follow up on cases and provide appropriate support to students with SEN, such as special assessment and accommodation, social training group, etc.
In respect of teachers' professional development, schools are arranging for teachers to receive various teacher training courses outside the schools in an orderly manner, and school-based educational psychologists organize regular seminars and workshops in schools to train teachers to support students' different learning needs.
In terms of learning and teaching, the Student Support Team works closely with the Academic Support Team and the Section Teams to adjust strategies and optimize classroom teaching according to students' learning differences, and to provide timely after-school support according to students' educational needs, such as the provision of reading and writing training groups, study groups, and so on.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; organizing cultural integration activities; and providing additional support (e.g., pull-outs/group learning, Pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as needed in the implementation of universal education for some of the grades (i.e., all classes/groups) in the school. Organize Chinese culture-related activities and talks for all students to enhance their understanding of Chinese culture and to promote an inclusive culture on campus.

Sharing of all facilities in two new primary and secondary school premises. In addition to standard facilities, there is an electronic piano room, a campus TV station, a video production and broadcasting center, a student study room, and a further education and career resources room. The completed Annex Building has an indoor swimming pool, an NBA-standard indoor basketball court, an art gallery, a multi-purpose conference hall, an International Baccalaureate resource room, and a STEM studio.
