Learning and Teaching Strategies :

The school adopts the principle of "lifelong learning and whole-person development" in formulating its curriculum objectives. The school aims to cultivate students' knowledge, skills and virtues, and to develop their potentials so that they can contribute to the society and the country in the future.
In line with the education reform and the revision of the curriculum based on school resources, the Life and Social Studies subject was introduced in junior secondary schools to develop students' thinking skills and prepare them for the senior secondary school curriculum, and e-learning was introduced to teach students to make use of information technology for learning from junior secondary schools onwards. Reading, project learning, moral and civic education are also actively promoted. In addition, in order to prepare students to cope with the changes and challenges brought about by the rapid economic, scientific and technological development of the society and the world, the school will endeavor to implement STEM education. All teachers are actively engaged in various types of training to support the implementation of quality education. Apart from attending the annual Teacher Development Day organized by the school, they also participate in seminars, workshops and refresher courses organized by the Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) and other educational institutions to enhance their professional knowledge. Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:

The school's student support team consists of the Deputy Headteacher, the SENCo, teachers who have received SEN training, the school social worker, the student counselor and the educational psychologist.

Through the Whole School Approach (WSA) and the Three-tier Support Model, teachers and school-based educational psychologists identify students' SEN at an early stage and provide appropriate support to students according to their different learning needs. All classrooms, special rooms, the assembly hall and the covered playground are air-conditioned. The Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System consists of two phases: Discretionary Places Allocation (DP) and Central Allocation (CA).
Discretionary places refer to S1 places reserved by schools for self-admission of students. Government, aided and caput secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places not exceeding 30%, while DSS secondary schools are allowed to reserve S1 places exceeding 30%.
The application period for the 2024 Discretionary Places is from January 2 to January 16, 2024. All secondary schools participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) System (participating secondary schools) will accept applications during the same period. Parents of current Primary 6 students participating in the Secondary School Places Allocation (SSPA) will receive two copies of the Application Form for Secondary 1 Discretionary Places in early December 2023 through their children's elementary school.
