School-wide language policy:
Since 2010, all subjects (except Chinese Language, Chinese History, Putonghua and Religion) are taught in English at Secondary 1 level. Moreover, passing in English, Chinese, Mathematics and Grade Point Average are the criteria for promotion. In addition, the school now has three expatriate teachers, and has implemented a one-on-one online oral practice program with after-school tutors in English, Japanese, German and Korean. 2. Curriculum focus: In addition to traditional subjects, the school emphasizes the importance of preparing students for the future. At the junior secondary level, there is a junior secondary English Language and Literature subject and an extended science curriculum at the S3 level, which includes Artificial Intelligence taught by staff from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as well as Biotechnology, Big Data, and Engineering Physics. In addition to Cantonese, English and Putonghua, programming is the school's fourth language. As a Christian school, the school has a school-based Religious Studies subject at junior secondary level, which extends to a school-based Ethics subject at senior secondary level, catering for the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of students.
Starting from the 2019-20 school year, SALep, a school-based enrichment program for junior secondary schools, has been formally implemented and is conducted during the weekday school hours. S1 and S2 students are enrolled in the compulsory modules of Chinese Calligraphy and English Drama respectively. Starting from December every year, students are free to choose one elective module. There are 15 elective modules, including Japanese, Korean, German, French, Food Science, Personal Finance and Health Management, Advanced Calligraphy, Creative Cooking, Smart Home, Mobile Programming, Mathematical Research, Advanced English Drama and Aeronautical Science and Technology, some of which are taught by external professional tutors at the expense of the school.

The school has a simple school ethos and pays close attention to the physical and psychological development of its students. In particular, it emphasizes the creation of a strict and caring school ethos, so that students can grow up in a good environment. The school also emphasizes on supporting students' emotional and developmental adjustment through a variety of programs, such as the "S1 and S2 Jumpstart Program" and the "I'll be with you Platform Activity", where peer support is provided by the Guidance Counselor; the "Relaxation O'Clock", the "Board Game Group", and the "Happy TEEN Vibrancy", etc., which are designed to support the growth and emotional needs of the students. In recent years, the school has been actively exploring strategies to create a culture of active learning among students. through lesson observations, discussions and sharing sessions, all subjects have begun to develop ways to encourage active learning. student feedback questionnaires have been introduced from 2019-2020 to enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching.
Schools are actively integrating IT education into classrooms and practices to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning. Some teachers use tablet computers in classroom teaching to enhance the interest and effectiveness of learning.
