The school is willing to support students to participate in different kinds of activities, make use of the rich resources of the school to develop their personal interests, broaden their horizons and enrich their knowledge. Students are cheerful and optimistic, and value the friendship of fellow students. In addition, Diocesan has two resident social workers to assist in counseling students in need.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
The school is committed to developing students' academic potential and enhancing the effectiveness of classroom learning and teaching. In order to cater for the diversity of student learning, each subject team regularly reviews its school-based curriculum to optimize the academic support for students and tailor the teaching strategies to suit the needs of individual students. Through a variety of learning and teaching strategies, such as "Flipped Classroom" and "Collaborative Learning", students are encouraged to learn independently, develop critical thinking and construct knowledge on their own. In addition, e-learning has become an integral part of daily teaching. Teachers are actively exploring various innovative e-learning tools and platforms, feasible modes of online assessment and interactive teaching materials in preparation for the full implementation of the "Bring Your Own Device" policy in the coming years. Starting from the 2021-2022 school year, elements of national security education have been integrated into the teaching curriculum of all subjects, aiming at deepening students' understanding of national development and national security, strengthening their sense of national identity, and nurturing them to become law-abiding and good citizens.

The school has set up a Teacher Development and Training Fund to actively support and encourage teachers to participate in different types of workshops, seminars and professional development programs.
Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
- The school has a new Student Support Team which meets regularly or as needed to support students with SEN. For early identification of SEN students, the school conducts informative interviews with new students and their parents.
- Some teachers have taken courses related to IE and possess professional competence.
- The school will also make flexible use of the Learning Support Grant and other school resources to cater for students' learning diversity and enhance learning effectiveness.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The School provides additional support to admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group learning, etc.); and organizing cultural integration activities. NCS students are grouped according to their language proficiency and are assisted in acquiring Chinese language qualifications in phases. The school also offers French as a second language option.
