School-wide language policy:
In line with the policy of fine-tuning the medium of instruction, the school has actively strengthened the English proficiency of junior secondary students, especially in the junior secondary Mathematics and Science subjects, to enhance the use of English vocabulary and to lay a solid foundation for learning. At the senior secondary level, students are taught in either English or their mother tongue, depending on the needs of the subject. In order to improve English language proficiency, we have set up an English Learning Center with four expatriate English teachers to conduct fun English activities, supplemented by multimedia self-learning materials and an online English classroom for students to further their studies. Students are expected to be biliterate and trilingual through activities such as morning reading meetings, reading awards, publication of student anthologies, academic days, English days, overseas study tours, and exchanges to the Mainland. The school creates a language environment by emphasizing both English and Chinese in announcements and student-led activities.
Tests and study adaptation measures:
The content of the test paper 30% is matched to the level of the less able students; 50% is at average level; and 20% is matched to the level of the more able students. Mathematics is included in the Senior Secondary Curriculum as an extension module for the more able students.

The school culture is simple and honest, and the relationship between teachers and students is cordial. We adopt a whole-school approach to counseling, which is student-centered and integrates training and counseling so that students receive appropriate counseling in all areas. A Peer Counseling Program has been established for junior high school students. We have a comprehensive award and scholarship program with awards for academics, conduct, reading, service, and activities to encourage students' all-round development.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
The curriculum is designed to be student-centered, taking into account the abilities of different students. The Middle School emphasizes training in biliteracy, trilingualism, STEM, life and society, and project-based learning, with additional remedial classes in English, Chinese and Mathematics after school. The Senior Secondary School adopts an interactive mode of teaching and learning to facilitate teacher-student communication and enhance students' presentation skills, and uses remedial lessons, lectures and tests to assist students in coping with public examinations. Each subject has a clear subject policy and work plan. In order to meet the needs of the academic structure and curriculum development of senior secondary schools, the Joint Committee of Heads of Subjects has been set up to formulate long-term curriculum policies.
Teacher professional training and development:
Teachers of the school actively participate in relevant teaching courses and workshops, and have teaching exchanges with teachers from alumni schools, and conduct regular peer lesson observations in undergraduate and cross-curricular subjects. They also participate in the School-based Support Program of the Education Bureau, and collaborate with expert consultants.
Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
The school has set up a Student Support Coordinating Committee (SSCC), co-ordinated by the Assistant Principal and comprising the Director of Student Development, Counseling and Discipline, the Social Worker and the Educational Psychologist. Special examination arrangements for internal tests and public examinations are also provided. Through the utilization of the Learning Support Grant, recruitment of additional support teachers and outsourcing of services, we provide various kinds of training courses and activities for needy students, including speech therapy, literacy training, emotional support, social skills and career planning training. The school also works closely with the Education Bureau and the professional team to ensure the balanced development of students. The school provides parents with "Student Support Digest", assemblies, parent days, interviews, visits, telephone calls and questionnaires to help them understand their children's learning situation and effectiveness.
