The school implements the integration of discipline and counseling. While strictly requiring students to observe discipline, the school also endeavors to assist students to grow up, with particular emphasis on students' self-discipline and self-esteem.
Dual-teacher system is introduced in junior secondary schools to enhance teacher-student contact and communication. The "Unlimited Points Award Scheme" is implemented to enhance students' self-confidence and self-motivation.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
- Cultivating students' self-learning ability and habit: All subjects have developed self-learning strategies for students at all levels, which are complemented by IT teaching to cultivate students' habit of preparing for lessons and consolidating what they have learned.
- To cater for learning diversity through the "Top-up Scheme" and "Consolidation Scheme", and to strengthen the work of upgrading and remedial work.

Teacher professional training and development:
The Mentor Scheme is implemented to provide induction counseling for new teachers. Workshops, seminars and exchange activities are organized for teachers every year. Peer lesson observation and collaborative lesson planning are conducted to promote professional exchanges, develop a learning organization, and encourage teachers to pursue continuing education.
Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
- Student Support: Members include the Deputy Principal, Special Education Needs Coordinator, Discipline Teachers, Social Workers, Chinese and English Language Teachers, and Educational Psychologists in Schools. The areas of support include student learning, student growth, home-school communication and teacher training.
- On the learning front, the "Pilot Scheme on School-based Collaborative Teaching in Support of Students with Special Educational Needs" has been implemented, under which different teaching strategies are implemented through collaborative teaching teams in the form of classroom research to support students' more effective learning.
- In the area of growth, the Career Orientation Program (COP) is offered to students of different grades. The training content is based on the secondary school curriculum, with elements of personal interest, life experience, career planning and career-oriented development, etc., to help each student identify his/her own interests and develop his/her own abilities, so that he/she is well-prepared for further education or employment in the future.
- In terms of home-school communication, during the Parents' Day, the Resident Educational Psychologist provides parents with information on the special examination arrangements for public examinations, students' case follow-up and learning outcomes, etc., so as to enable parents to understand the learning characteristics of their students, and thus to complement the school's measures.
- In terms of teacher training, the school-based psychologists were invited to provide training for teachers, sharing the policy and support programs for SEN students' public examination adaptation. In addition, teachers from SSDs were invited to share their strategies for taking care of students' diversity in curriculum planning and teaching.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to its admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning, group learning, etc. on a need basis); organizing cultural integration activities; employing additional staff and/or procuring additional translation/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents; and providing additional support on a need basis (e.g. pull-out learning, group learning, Pinyin teaching materials, etc.) in the implementation of PTH across the board (i.e. in all classes/groups) in all grades in the school. Additional support (e.g. pull-out/group learning, phonics teaching materials, etc.) will be provided on a need basis in the implementation of universal education across the board (i.e. all classes/groups) at all levels of the school.
