Emphasize biliteracy and trilingualism. Signs, notices, campus TV, English Square and English Learning Center are used to promote English. The school has implemented the "Thursday English Day" throughout the year to create a good English environment for students, and organizes English learning activities at appropriate times to enhance students' English proficiency and understanding of English culture. In addition, the school has implemented the policy of fine-tuning the Medium of Instruction (MOI) by introducing Extended English Learning (EEL) activities for some subjects from Secondary 1 to Secondary 3.

Secondary 1 adopts a triple class teacher system, while other levels adopt a double class teacher system to provide comprehensive care for students. Each subject group in the school provides all-round support for the growth of students according to the "Mau Fung Student Growth Framework", so as to cultivate students' good character, leadership skills, and progress towards the goal of becoming outstanding "Mau Fungians".
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
The curriculum is designed to be student-centered and to cater for the diversity of student learning. At the junior secondary level, emphasis is placed on biliteracy, trilingualism, information technology (IT) and extensive reading, and the Chinese and English languages are taught in small groups. At the senior secondary level, an interactive IT teaching mode is adopted to promote teacher-student and student-student interactions. After-school tutorials, tests and mock examinations are provided to help students prepare for public examinations. Each subject has a clear pedagogical policy and work plan to meet the needs of the curriculum. The Curriculum Development Unit will assist each subject in formulating long-term curriculum policies.
Teacher professional training and development:
The School is committed to promoting the professional development of teachers. Apart from participating in the Seed Project and School-based Support Programmes of the Education Bureau, the School also has a number of collaborative projects with tertiary institutions and the business sector.
