The school uses Chinese as the main medium of instruction. A recent external school review report summarized the school's mission as follows: The school takes pride in caring for students of all abilities, believing that they are able to "know right from wrong, willing to be taught, and able to change," and that they are strong in their beliefs. While the principal and teachers are caring and nurturing, they strive to cultivate students' character and actively provide opportunities for students to experience success, helping them to build up their self-confidence, which in turn strengthens their motivation to learn.
