School-wide language policy:
The school implements mother-tongue teaching and emphasizes basic training in biliteracy and trilingualism to enable students to excel in both Chinese and English, and to develop a good language foundation for future studies and employment. At the junior secondary level, English language teaching materials are used at different levels to cater for the different learning abilities of students. In S1 and S2, English is used as the medium of instruction in all subject classes. In S.3, Chinese Language and English Language are taught in small groups to cater for the less able students, while teaching strategies are developed for the more able students to enhance their learning effectiveness. At the senior secondary level, some subjects are taught in English and Chinese groups to cater for the needs and abilities of students. At the junior and senior secondary levels, the school also arranges "Advanced Supplementary Classes" in Chinese and English to meet the needs of students. The school also organizes various extra-curricular activities in English and Chinese to enhance students' participation and interest.

The school is not only concerned with the teaching of knowledge, but also emphasizes the cultivation of students' emotions. The school culture is simple and honest, and all students are able to abide by the rules and obey the teaching. The Religious, Careers, Discipline, Counseling and Extra-curricular Activities Sections of the school, together with the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Social Worker, have organized a number of activities in the school to cultivate self-confidence and a sense of responsibility among the students. The school organizes large-scale activities such as Religious Day, Other Learning Experiences Week, Caring Ambassadors, Senior Team Camp and Peer Leader Camp to train students to be self-disciplined, strong, leaders and role models. The school also takes care of students with academic and financial difficulties.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
To emphasize the effectiveness of teaching and learning and to cultivate students' self-learning ability. Students are encouraged to sign a charter to lead a self-disciplined life. Encourage the exchange of subject-based teaching experience among teachers to enhance the quality of teaching. Adoption of long block scheduling to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning as well as the provision of electronic classrooms to facilitate teaching and learning interactions between teachers and students. To meet the needs of the community, different courses (e.g. Junior Secondary Liberal Studies, Business Accounting and Finance, Tourism and Hospitality) were introduced; and the curriculum was cut down at the junior secondary level according to the learning situation of the students. To set up a Reading Promotion Team to plan for the promotion of reading throughout the school and to enhance the reading culture.

Teacher professional training and development:
"Positive Education" has been a major concern of the school in the past three years. This year, teachers have strengthened the learning and practicing of "Growth Mindset" and "Positive Language" in "Positive Education", so as to enable teachers to master how to encourage students in a positive way. In the development of e-learning and e-learning, the school encouraged teachers to pursue further studies, and also arranged teachers to share their experiences in the classroom and conduct subject-specific project learning. In the new year, the school has purchased a lot of electronic equipment, and teachers have been learning more about the use of tablet computers and different applications. Whole School Participation Model Integrated Education:
The school adopts a "Whole School Approach" in implementing IE. A Learning Support Team (LST) has been set up to support students with special educational needs (SEN), comprising the Deputy Principal, Educational Psychologist, SEN Co-ordinator, Guidance Team teachers, SEN Support Teachers, Social Workers and Teaching Assistants. Members of the team meet regularly to formulate appropriate support plans for students with SEN and to review the implementation of IE. The school provides appropriate support to students according to their needs, such as speech therapy service, executive function training and learning skills training to enhance students' learning effectiveness. The school also arranges teachers to enroll in courses related to IE to enhance their professional competence. In terms of teaching and learning, we also cater for students' learning differences through curriculum design and diversified teaching strategies.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; and organizing cultural integration activities. Encourage students to participate in off-site programs on "Chinese Language Learning Support for NCS Students".
