The mission of the school is to emphasize moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic education, so that students with various potentials can have the opportunity to develop their strengths. Classroom teaching model:

In 2009, the policy of small class size was implemented to enhance individualized care; and the General Education Medium Scheme (GEMS) was implemented for specific classes at Primary Six. Dual appointment system was adopted for specific subjects in Primary Three; homogeneous grouping was adopted for Primary Four.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

The school-based curriculum is designed through collaborative lesson planning by teachers; small class sizes are implemented to cater for differences; extra tutoring time is provided, together with outsourcing of services, to make up the difference.

The School provides additional support to its admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese language teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/small group learning, etc.); developing a school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; organizing inclusive school activities; and employing additional staff and/or purchasing additional translation/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents.
