Classroom teaching model:
Inspired by Finnish education, the program promotes experiential learning and is specially designed to encourage students to explore and solve problems in nature, as well as to provide curriculum integration and thematic studies at each level. Each level has its own curriculum and special studies. One class per level emphasizes students' participation in the classroom and group interactions. Foreign teachers conduct a variety of activities both inside and outside the classroom to enhance English proficiency.
Placement in classes:
The school provides tailor-made Chinese lessons for non-Chinese speaking students. The school offers Chinese, English and Mathematics classes at all levels, with grouping arrangements according to the level of the students. 2022-2023 will see the implementation of the English International Curriculum at Primary 1, 2 and 3, and the establishment of the General Studies English Teaching Group at Primary 6 to meet the learning needs of students.

Founded more than 60 years ago, the school has a simple school ethos and implements a school-based guidance program. It is committed to fostering students' "positive thinking" and aims to "continue to create a positive, hard-working school culture", as well as to cultivate a sense of empathy and gratitude. Parents, teachers and students have a good relationship with each other and often collaborate in learning and social activities.
Learning and Teaching Strategies :
The school is committed to designing a quality school-based curriculum that emphasizes experiential learning and implements life-wide learning, cross-curricular curriculum integration and project-based learning, so that students can participate in hands-on, hands-on, hands-on learning, and learning by doing, in order to build knowledge and generic skills. The unique Forestry Program allows students to use nature as a classroom to meet challenges and develop resilience in the mountains and the sea. Teachers teach students to think at a higher level so that they can grow to a higher, farther and wider level of thinking and develop the ability to think critically and discerningly. After-school homework guidance and a variety of potential development activities are provided to meet the needs of different students. All students participate in the English Reading and Writing Program of the Education Bureau, and additional resources are allocated for arranging additional foreign English teachers to enhance English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Every year, the school arranges for students to go on exchange trips around the world to broaden their horizons.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive modes of Chinese language teaching and learning (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/cluster learning, etc.); and organizing inclusive campus activities. There are 6 levels and 11 sets of cross-grade grouped courses for students to learn at their Chinese language level.
