Based on biblical truths, the school utilizes a "Whole School Approach" to discipline, practicing love and care through classroom management, discipline, I-Care Ambassadors, and off-campus volunteer services. In conjunction with a variety of programs and curricula, such as the "School-Based Counseling Reward Program" and Life Growth Classes, students learn to understand the meaning of life, learn to respect and cherish life, and then develop correct values and positive attitudes toward life. Life-wide Learning:
More than 50 activities are offered to students after school from Monday to Saturday to develop the nine multiple intelligences: Musical Theatre, Glass Cup Playing, Cheerleading, Martial Arts, Chinese Orchestra, Hip Hop, Wooden Drums, Elite Science, Robotics, Fellowship, Anchor Boys, English Ambassadors, and Leadership Programs, among others.
Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:
Caring for the less able students: adapting home lessons and tests; providing teaching support; outsourcing diversified services such as speech therapy, literacy improvement groups, etc.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to its admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; organizing inclusive campus activities; and hiring additional staff and/or procuring additional translation/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents.
