Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:
A three-tier support model is implemented in the Chinese Language Primary and Secondary classrooms, with remedial measures for English and Mathematics. Adaptation arrangements are made for students with special learning needs (SEN), including adaptation for assignments, dictation and examinations, etc., to cater for students with different learning needs.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to its admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; organizing inclusive campus activities; and employing additional staff and/or procuring additional translation/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents.
