The school provides additional support to its admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese language learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; developing school-based Chinese language curriculum and/or adapting teaching materials; organizing inclusive school activities; and employing additional staff and/or procuring additional translation/interpretation services to facilitate communication with parents.
Home school cooperation:
Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) members and Parent-Managers act as a bridge between the school and parents and maintain good communication with the school. The school organizes a variety of seminars and workshops for parents to promote parent education and enhance their positive parenting skills. A parent volunteer team has been set up to assist in major school events such as sports day and open day. In addition, the school also provides service opportunities such as English classes and storytelling for parents, so that parents can participate more and work closely with the school.
