The Chinese Language subject from Primary 1 to Primary 3 implements picture book teaching to cultivate students' interest in reading and build up their reading habit at an early age. The English subject of Primary 1 to Primary 6 has an English writing book. Chinese Language is taught at different levels from Primary 1 to Primary 3, and English Language and Mathematics are taught at different levels from Primary 5. Teachers make adjustments to the teaching contents, progress, assignments and assessments according to the needs of different students. Before and after-school Sunshine Classes and Subject Tutorial Classes are organized to provide more learning support for students with different abilities.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The School provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: additional teachers/teaching assistants are recruited to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; intensive modes of Chinese language teaching and learning are arranged (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/cluster learning, etc.); and inclusive campus activities are organized.
