The school attaches great importance to the changes in the schooling stage, and will provide appropriate early childhood transition and further education counseling for students entering Primary 1 and Secondary 1. In addition to parent-teacher conferences, the school also provides "Primary 1 Adaptation Courses", "After-school Small Groups" and theme-based activities, etc., to assist students in adapting to school life.

Learning and Teaching Strategies :

1. to implement independent learning, students will use "pre-teaching, learning tasks, after-school extension, attainment test and reflection" as the learning mode.

Life-wide Learning:

A wide range of activities or interest classes are organized and taught by professional instructors or teachers of the school to enable students to have diversified development. Activities include ball games, athletics, swimming, dancing, western musical instruments, African drums, ink painting, sketching, 3D painting, Chinese and English dramas, singing, Chinese Debate Team, English Ambassadors, Math Olympians, and science students. There are also Cub Scouts, Community Cadet Corps and Junior Police Call uniformed teams.

Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:

To cater for students' abilities and needs, small group teaching is provided in some classes to enhance learning effectiveness and to cater for students' learning diversity. Adaptation of homework and examination will be provided upon assessment of special needs.

Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:

The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-outs/group learning, Pinyin teaching materials, etc.) as necessary in the implementation of Putonghua education across the board for some of the grades in the school (i.e., for all classes/groups). Home school cooperation:

Parents of the school actively participated in school activities and formed parent volunteer teams to assist the school in implementing different activities, thus giving full play to the spirit of home-school co-operation. In line with the school's theme of caring and environmental protection, the PTA organizes used school uniform recycling and transfer services every year to help needy families. The school also organizes parent workshops to guide parents on how to work together to cultivate positive values and attitudes in students, and at the same time, to strengthen parents' knowledge and skills in parenting.
