Classroom teaching model:
The whole school has implemented the "Portable Device Scheme" and small class teaching, utilizing the Adaptive Online Learning System (AOLS) for self-learning to enhance students' participation and learning effectiveness, as well as to strengthen their interest in and effectiveness of learning. Learning and Teaching Strategies :
1. 2. Grade 1 English is taught through the use of large format books, which enhance students' ability to learn English vocabulary, sentences, and grammar through the reading of stories.
3. Mathematics trains students' problem-solving skills and enhances their confidence in solving mixed-word problems with addition and subtraction.
4. General Studies utilizes the scientific experimental inquiry method with field trips to enhance students' different common abilities.

Life-wide Learning:
We offer a wide range of physical education and emerging sports programs, such as fencing, cup stacking, squash, rugby, basketball, soccer, fitness ball, rope skipping, taekwondo, harp, guitar, western dance, ballet, Chinese dance, and lion dance; and we have multi-intelligence classes and thematic inquiry activities. Uniformed teams include: Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Pioneers of Christ, Volunteers, Traffic Safety Team and Community Youth Corps.
Course Tailoring and Adaptation Measures:
A "Happy Afternoon" session is set up for students to complete their homework on their own or to arrange gifted and talented courses according to their individual strengths and interests, so as to increase their interest and confidence in learning. Wednesdays are "No Homework Days" for students to prepare for assessments or to play their favorite sports. In Grade 1, there is no examination throughout the year and students' progress is monitored through daily progress assessments.
Educational support for non-Chinese speaking students:
The school provides additional support to the admitted NCS students to help them learn Chinese: providing after-school Chinese learning support; employing additional teachers/teaching assistants to support NCS students' Chinese language learning; arranging intensive Chinese teaching modes (e.g. pull-out learning on a need basis, group/group learning, etc.); organizing inclusive school activities; and providing additional support (e.g. pull-out learning, pinyin teaching materials, etc.) on a need basis for the implementation of Putonghua teaching in the school across the board for all grades (i.e., for all classes/groups).
